Join the beta
Play Depthbound before anyone else. Roll the d20, face the bosses, and tell us what to make better before the game opens to everyone on Google Play.

Three steps into the deep
- 1
Sign up
Leave the email address of the Google account on your Android phone. That's the account Google Play invites.
- 2
Get your invite
When the beta opens, we email you a link. Tap it, join the test, and install Depthbound from Google Play like any other game.
- 3
Play and tell us
Play a few dives over two weeks and tell us what you loved, what was too hard and what broke. Updates arrive through Google Play.
- Depthbound before it opens to everyone, free
- Every update during the beta, first
- A real say in what changes: your feedback goes straight to the developer
- An Android phone (Android 8.0 or newer)
- Stay in the test for at least 14 days: Google needs that before the game can go public
- Play now and then, and tell us honestly what you think
Save your spot
Depthbound is made by one developer, so every tester counts. Use the email of your Google account (the one on your Android phone).
Before you dive
Does it cost anything?
No. The beta is free, and so is Depthbound on Google Play.
When does the beta start?
As soon as the game is approved for testing on Google Play. Everyone on the list gets the invite by email at the same time.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. The beta is Android only.
Why do you need my Google account email?
Google Play only lets invited accounts join a closed test, so we add your address to the tester list. We use it for nothing else, and delete it when the test ends or when you ask.
Does my progress stay when the game goes public?
Your save lives on your phone, and the public game is the same app on Google Play, so updates keep it. If a beta build ever needs a fresh start, we'll say so first.
How do I give feedback?
Reply to the invite email, or write to Benni0801@web.de. Screenshots help a lot.
